Important glove function distinction

Electrical Insulating Gloves

Designed to provide electrical insulation within the glove's verified electrical class and operating limits.

Moisture-Absorbing Glove Liners

Worn beneath insulating gloves to improve comfort and reduce perspiration. They provide no electrical insulation on their own.

ESD Anti-Static Gloves

Used for suitable electronics, connectors and non-energised handling tasks. They are not electrically insulating gloves.

Glove liners and ESD anti-static gloves must never replace certified electrical insulating gloves when electrical insulation is required.

System Guide

High-Voltage Glove System

When electrical insulation is required, a layered glove system is typically used. The ESD anti-static gloves are not part of this system.

Moisture-Absorbing Glove Liner

ISOVOLT Moisture-Absorbing Glove Liners – Dromex GCOT Range

2

Class 0 Electrical Insulating Glove

ISOVOLT Dromex THOR Class 0 Electrical Insulating Gloves – HV-CLASS0 (DG-THOR)

3

Additional Outer Protector (if required)

Compatible protective overgloves may be required, as specified by the insulating-glove manufacturer, task risk assessment or site procedure.

The final glove system must follow the insulating-glove manufacturer's instructions, task-specific risk assessment and site procedure. Leather protector gloves are not included with any ISOVOLT-listed glove product.
