Major Tech Infrared Thermometer with Multipoint Laser
A fast non-contact infrared thermometer for professional surface-temperature measurement.
The MT694 is an infrared surface thermometer. It is not a thermal imaging camera and does not produce thermal images. It measures surface temperature at a point — it cannot see through casings, measure internal battery-cell temperature, or replace a thermal imaging camera.
Key Benefits
Non-Contact Temperature Measurement
Fast, safe surface temperature readings without physical contact — suitable for energised and hot surfaces.
Wide −50°C to 1000°C Infrared Range
Broad temperature range covering most industrial and electrical surface-temperature measurement tasks.
20:1 Distance-to-Spot Ratio
Accurate spot readings from a safe working distance away from hot or inaccessible surfaces.
Multipoint Laser Targeting
Circular multipoint laser increases targeting accuracy at the optimum measurement distance.
Adjustable Emissivity and Type-K Input
Digitally adjustable emissivity (0.10–1.0) plus external Type-K probe for contact temperature measurement.

Applications
Safety Notice
Electrical testing must only be performed by appropriately trained and authorised personnel. Confirm that the instrument, test leads, accessories, measurement category and voltage rating are suitable for the specific task. Follow approved isolation, lockout, voltage-verification and PPE procedures. Instrument ratings do not remove the need for risk assessment, correct PPE or safe working procedures.
