Provides extended reach during controlled emergency intervention.

Two-Piece Transport

Separates into two sections for easier transport and storage.

Foam-Filled Fibreglass

Purpose-designed insulated shaft construction for electrical rescue applications.

What Does the Rescue Hook Do?

Emergency Rescue Without Direct Physical Contact

A person assisting an electrically energised casualty must not make direct physical contact or use conductive material.

The rescue hook is intended to help trained personnel move a casualty or obstruction away from the hazard while maintaining separation.

The rescue hook does not

  • Makes contact with live electricity safe
  • Eliminates electric-shock risk
  • Permits untrained rescue
  • Replaces electrical isolation
  • Replaces emergency medical care
  • Guarantees protection at every voltage
  • General-purpose lifting equipment
Emergency-Response Role

High-Level Response Sequence

1

Raise the Alarm

Activate the site emergency procedure.

2

Isolate Where Possible

De-energise or isolate the electrical source using the approved procedure where it can be completed safely.

3

Avoid Direct Contact

Do not touch a person who may still be energised.

4

Use Approved Rescue Equipment

A trained responder may use the rescue hook according to the site procedure and approved product instructions.

Electrical rescue must only be attempted by trained personnel. The rescue hook does not replace electrical isolation, first aid, CPR, AED access or emergency services.
